1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Controla Gastos AI application ("App"), developed and operated by Zion Systems ("We", "Our"), you fully agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the App after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2 Description of Service

Controla Gastos AI is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

The App is NOT:

• A regulated banking or financial service.
• An investment platform or financial advisory service.
• A professional accounting system.

3 Eligibility

To use the App, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
• Provide truthful information when creating your account.

4 User Account

4.1 Account creation

You can create an account using email and password, Google sign-in, or Apple sign-in. Account creation is optional — the App works locally without registration.

4.2 Account responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities performed under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4.3 Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. When you delete your account:

• All personal data will be removed within 30 days.
• Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the app store.
• Data stored locally on the device is not affected by cloud account deletion.

5 Premium Plan and Subscriptions

5.1 Available plans

The App offers a free version with basic features and a Premium plan with additional resources, available in the following options:

The Premium plan includes, among others:

• Financial insights powered by artificial intelligence.
• Cloud data synchronization across devices.
• Advanced spending reports.

5.3 Billing and renewal

• Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Charges are billed to the account linked to the app store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• We do not offer direct refunds. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple or Google.

5.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time in the app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period.

6 Acceptable Use

By using the App, you agree NOT to:

• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Interfere with server or infrastructure operations.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the App.
• Share your account with third parties.
• Submit malicious, offensive content or content that violates third-party rights.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7 Intellectual Property

All App content — including but not limited to source code, design, interface, text, icons, logos, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of Zion Systems or its licensors.

It is prohibited to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior authorization.
• Use the "Controla Gastos AI" brand or associated logos without written permission.
• Remove copyright or intellectual property notices.

8 AI Functionality (Receipt Scanner)

8.1 How it works

The App uses artificial intelligence (via third-party API) to analyze receipt images and automatically extract information such as amount, date, merchant, and suggested category.

8.2 Limitations

• AI may not be able to read receipts that are blurry, damaged, or in unusual formats.
• Extracted data are suggestions and should be verified by the user before saving.
• Accuracy may vary depending on language, receipt format, and image quality.

8.3 AI Privacy

• Receipt images are temporarily sent for processing and are not permanently stored.
• Processing is anonymous — the image is not linked to your identity.
• You can control the sharing of descriptions with AI in the App Settings.

9 Financial Disclaimer

10 Service Availability and Modifications

10.1 Availability

We strive to keep the App available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
• Third-party server failures (Supabase, Apple, Google).
• Force majeure events.

10.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue App features at any time.
• Change subscription prices with prior notice.
• Update these Terms as necessary.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Brazilian law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available."
• We make no warranties that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
• Our total liability, under any circumstances, is limited to the amount paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

12 Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and, optionally, deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if:

• You violate these Terms of Use.
• Your use poses a risk to the security or integrity of the service.
• Required by legal or regulatory order.

After termination, the sections on Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law remain in effect.

13 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of the headquarters of Zion Systems, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
